Terms of sale and use

These terms apply when you buy and use Modular Diffuser plans, files and the configurator. Last updated 23 September 2026.

1. Who we are

The plans are designed and published by [Your full name], [Postal address: street, number, postcode, city, country], contact@akashavidya.com ("we"). The contact page has all our details.

2. What you buy

Digital content only: access to the configurator for your project, and the files it generates. These are print files for the printer you choose (G-code), lists and manuals. Separately, buyers can order the printed parts from us: those are physical goods, sold and shipped by us, with their own price, shipping and receipt. You build the product yourself, with your own tools, materials and printer, following the assembly manual.

3. Price, payment and seller of record

Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is handled by [Payment provider, e.g. Stripe], which acts as the seller of record ("merchant of record"). It collects the price and any VAT or sales tax for your country, and issues your receipt. Its buyer terms also apply to the payment.

4. Delivery

You get access in your account right after payment. You can generate and download the files there.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

As a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. For digital content, this right ends when the download starts, if you asked us to deliver immediately and confirmed that you know you lose the right of withdrawal. At checkout we ask you for exactly this, with a checkbox, and we confirm it in your receipt. If you have not downloaded anything yet, write to us within 14 days and you get your money back.

6. If something is wrong with the files

The files must work as described on the product page and in the manual. If they do not, tell us. We fix the problem, send you corrected files, or refund you, as the law of your country provides. Corrected versions of the plans are free for buyers.

7. Your part

• Read and follow the assembly manual and the safety information, above all the anchoring to the room wall.
• Print and fit the test pieces first, and adjust the settings for your printer.
• Check that your room, wall and floor suit the wall of boxes, and that your local building and fire rules allow it.
• Use materials of the kind and quality the manual lists.

8. Acoustic data

The frequency ranges on this site are calculated from the geometry. They are not measured yet. How a diffuser sounds depends on the room, where you sit and how it is built.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, under product liability law, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer stay as they are.

Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by building or installing the product differently from the manual, by materials or parts that do not match the manual, or by changes you made to the files.

10. Updates and versions

We improve the plans over time. Each version has a number and a date. Buyers get access to later versions of the plans they bought. We keep a record of every published version.

11. Accounts

You log in with a link sent to your e-mail, without a password. Keep access to that e-mail address. You can delete your account at any time. See the privacy policy.

12. Law and disputes

Romanian law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can also go to the courts there. Please write to us first; most problems are solved by e-mail. You can also contact the consumer protection authority of your country.
