Safety information
Read this before you buy, and again before you build. The same rules are at the start of every README file the configurator exports, and in the assembly manual.

Intended use
An acoustic diffuser wall for studios, listening rooms and similar rooms. The boxes stand on the floor, against a solid room wall, and are anchored to it. It is not a shelf, a room divider or a free-standing object. It is not designed to carry anything but its own parts.
Weight
| Box depth | One box | Wall of 4 × 7 boxes |
|---|---|---|
| 350 mm | ≈ 11.5 kg | ≈ 320 kg |
| 500 mm | ≈ 15 kg | ≈ 425 kg |
| 600 mm | ≈ 17.5 kg | ≈ 490 kg |
| 700 mm | ≈ 20 kg | ≈ 560 kg |
Birch plywood at about 680 kg/m³ plus the printed parts. Your export shows the weight of your own wall.
Warnings
- Tip-over hazard. A wall of boxes is heavy and taller than it is deep. It can fall forward and cause serious injury or death. Anchor the top row to the room wall at every joint, with the printed top anchors (PETG, screwed into the boxes and into the wall with plugs) or with metal anti-tip straps rated at least 50 kg each, as the assembly manual shows. Do it as soon as the top row is in place, before the fins, drawers and waves go in.
- Never leave two or more rows standing without anchoring, not even for one day, not even while you build.
- Only against a solid, flat room wall and on a level floor. Use wall fixings that suit your wall. In a hollow drywall, fix into a stud or use metal cavity anchors rated for the load. If you are not sure what your wall is made of, ask a professional.
- At most 10 rows (2850 mm) high.
- Do not climb on the boxes, lean on them, sit on them or hang anything from them. Keep children and pets away while you build, and do not let them play with the wall.
- Build every box with wood glue and all the screws listed in the export. Replace a split board. Do not leave out screws.
- The printed parts carry no load. Never stand a box on its waves, drawers or combs.
- Print the parts as the export says (PETG or PLA, at least 3 walls). PLA softens from about 55 °C: keep the wall away from heaters, fireplaces and hot lamps.
- Plywood and plastic burn. In public or commercial rooms, check the local fire rules before you install, and use fire-rated materials if they require it.
- Wear eye protection when you drill and cut. Follow the instructions of your tools and of your 3D printer.
Checks
- Before you build: print the test pieces and adjust the settings until everything fits as the README describes.
- Once a year, and after the wall has been moved or bumped: check that the top anchors or straps are tight and their fixings are sound, that no board is split, and that no box has moved.
- To take the wall down: waves first, then drawers and fins, then the boxes from the top down. Release the anchoring of a box only when you lift that box off.
